This document is a report from the US Office of the National Director of Intelligence, titled the "Quadrenial Intelligence Community Review" (QICR). It is produced every four years as guide to long-term (10-20 years) intelligence strategic planning. This report complements other regular shorter term reviews. It posits potential future global political scenarios and develops three broad ("safe bets") and three focused ("strategic hedges") tactics for future operation and application planning. Projected plans include aritifical intelligence to aid in data collection and analysis, and technological acquisition through foreign intelligence to maintain the forefront of innovation.
